Distinguished Service Award Application
(Mary England Memorial Extension Fund)
The Alabama PTA Distinguished Service Award is an honor given for outstanding service to PTA or for the welfare of children and youth. Only a council, local PTA, or the state executive committee can apply for an individual to receive this honor. It was established as a memorial fund in honor of Miss Mary England, a pioneer in PTA extension work in Alabama and the nation.
